Consulting

Consulting is another one of my coverage specialties. My third book, The Firm: The Story of McKinsey and Its Secret Influence on American Business, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2013. I was too nice in that book. I think McKinsey is a corrosive influence, both on the people who work there and the companies that hire it. Their behavior in recent years, as documented in countless news articles, shows that the firm has lost its moral compass, if it ever had one in the first place.
