There’s a bunch of photos on this site that were part of original stories that I wrote. I’m not trying to steal anybody’s work - I’m just pointing back to the original place where both my stories and the accompanying art were published. If you are a photographer or artist or agency who has a problem with me using images to link to the very stories we all got paid for in the first place, please just contact me and I will take them down. I am all for double-dipping if it’s not extortion, but you won’t be able to scare me into paying you again for something you already got paid for because of a story written by me. If you try, I will publicly shame you for doing so. These stories were produced by teams, and the teams got paid. Trying to get paid again — by one of your teammates! — would be offensive. So don’t even bother.
